The Role

Oxfam GB is looking for a Campaigner to lead public mobilization activities with European partners in the run up to the UN Climate Conference in November.

The role is part of an EC DEAR-funded project on Climate Justice which aims to ensure that EU citizens are aware of, understand and actively engage in efforts to tackle the interrelated issues of climate change, development and gender equality. The role will be based in OGB but work closely with the Programme Management Unit (PMU) of the project, based in Novib.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for a dynamic campaigner who has experience of regional or global campaigning with partners, alliances, and/or coalitions. You will be able to manage complex projects and activities, quickly building relationships across borders and working remotely to deliver impactful campaigns.

You will bring excellent communication skills, as well as creativity and drive to mobilize young audiences to engage in Climate Justice.

This role will give you an opportunity to work with a major European consortium involving some of the leading organizations in the Climate Justice movement. You will play a central role in leading European campaigning ahead of a pivotal UN Climate Conference.

Salary: £30,985 – £40,168 pro rata
